My truck is a v8 with the over sized tire package: 31X10.5.

I think the auto makes a difference, because I know guys that have a
stick in their truck and towing isn't a problem. Might improve with
some drive train mods...maybe some gears.
I will be pulling a boat soon, and really need a reliable puller...the
boat is a 21 ft Air Nautique.
