97-99 headers?

Anybody who has installed shorty headers on a 99 318 and have any tips or
tricks please let me know. I just bought some used from a guy. they are for
the older model trucks but JBA says that the only difference is some sort of
fitting for a tube but I'm welding a plate over it. I'd really appreciate
any info:
