Couldn't agree with you more on the rear gears. My '66 Olds 442 had a
2.56 posi "turnpike cruiser" option behind my M-21, and I could light
'em through 3 of the 4 gears (and 150 ft, won high school burn-out
contest!). Once it got going, it would not stop. I drove a friends' '68
442 with a 3.73 posi and it just hunkered down and took off. Same motor,
tire size, etc. but my '66 was 400lbs heavier (4100lbs) How is the score
now?? If we win, I'll UPS next-day ya your fav case o' brewski, packed
in fresh L.A. smog. :-) Dak content- Waiting to get 4.10's for my 6er.
