Hey Bernd, a suggestion how you might check the air flow in the new hood;
tape some thin ribbon streamers to the rear under side of the opening and
some down inside the cowl. The cowl streamers should be short so they don't
extend beyond the hood and catch the air over it. When you are running they
both should be streaming toward the windshield. Just and old sailing trick
that might work.
The hood looks great!
