I have a "98 SLT that the AIS module fried on it one time when trying
to jump it with a dead battery. I left the interior light on and the
battery was saved luckily by the Sears tech guy. I accidently left
the interior light on again 2 weeks ago and it killed the battery.
Wouldn't take a charge or jump. I had to buy a new battery and got a
Diehard from the local sears. Truck starts a helluva lot better now.
I only have 27,000 miles on mine.
