It's a 4" ID opening and the dimensions are 7" x 7" (tapers down to 4.5")
(923 CFM)
Having a filter that flows more is good, but will not increase the Max CFM
rating of the engine. The stock motors will never even see 600CFM.
Mine was modified to fit the Dual eRam setup...but a definite improvement
over the old intake system I had.

Subject: DML: K+N FLOW RATINGS....GEN2?????????
Currently I have a 14" aircleaner. There was a post about 2
weeks ago
stating the flow ratings of various K+N filters. Mine was in the 700-750cfm
range.
The 6"x9" cone filter flowed at 900+cfm. Do any of you guys know what
filter is uded on the K+N GEN2? If so, then it must be better than my
current set-up. Colder air and more cfm is a good combo. You guys with the
Gen2's, how do you like your intake? Was it a big gain?
