My stock gap is .035. I have a complete aftermarket ignition( MSD wires, MSD
Ignition, Accel Super Coil, BW Select Brass Cap and Rotor, Champion Truck
Plugs) and originally had the plugs gapped to .050. Last week I regapped them
to .044, and the truck ran better. With the stock ignition, I would say dont
gap higher than .005-.007 higher than the stock gap. Of course, depending on
what engine you have too.
