I have the JBA's and they work extremely well, even without the TB.
 I just put the Y-pipe on last weekend so I really can't make too much of
it. But without them (Headers and Y) my truck used to pop like crazy on
compression braking. Now it's almost not there.
P.S. I have all the stock pipes and a Flowmaster 2-chamber single in single
out.
