Yes, you do have to remove the T-bars on this kit also. When I put the
control arms back together, I just made sure that I had an equal amount of
suspension travel above and below the bumpstops, then had it aligned. I
took some measurements also, but this seemed to work better. If you look at
the pictures of Tony's (yellow) truck there's one of the lower control arm.
You can see that there is not much room for compression before it hits the
upper bumpstop. This is easily fixed by adjusting the T-bars. Probably
wouldn't even require another alignment.

I don't think the shell weighed enough to make much of a difference in ride
height. Thanks for the kind words about my truck. I think I need to go buy
an R/T (no offense meant to anyone) so I can take advantage of all you guys'
speed secrets and have the best of both worlds.
