I doubt very seriously if the track at Ennis is closing since they (NHRA)
are thinking about or already have added a third national event there.
Bruton Smith, owner of Texas Motor Speedway and many other NASCAR tracks,
is the one threatening to build a 1/4 mile track in Grand Prarie.
