Have you checked with the online junkyards? Many of them have locator
services for finding parts anywhere in the U.S. Don't forget to look for Ram
pickups and/or full size vans with the 5.2 or 5.9L also. However, I don't
think that there is any way you will find one for $300, in the '92 to '96
vintage. You are most likely going to have to spend much closer to $1000 for
the engine/trans. Keep in mind that most of the $100 Chevy 350's are not
fuel injected late model engines, they are just stone age small blocks, and
you get what you pay for.
