I was reading an old issue of truckin (dec 97) and it
states:
page77 97 dak "under the hood, the already powerful
5.2 liter Magnum engine was slightly beefed up with
the addition of a Mopar Performance-tuned computer"
page 139 "their '97 dak project is a 2 wheel drive
318...the heart of the dakota modificaton, however, is
the Performance Engine Controller. Although a
computer is alreday available, the engineers have
created a new prototype that increase horse power and
torque from 1,600 to 5,200 rpm."
there seemed to be more mentions of the puter.. but
that was all I could find.
My question is... WHAT THE F@#K!?!?!
btw, that particular mag, had lots of dak related
stuff
