My bad on the last one. i hate the stupid mouse!.
Anyways

IF. you get out of your car and use the "lock" power feature in the doors,
you just set the factory alarm. I hate the alarm too. It's funny when you
start the dakota up tho. Crank... BEEP BEEP BEEP crank. BEEP shuts off..
then it resets and you're there just looking stupid. But anyways. it's fun.
I find it funny when i use the lock or unlock feature when people are
backing out. "Honk Honk" and they slam on the brakes and just panic. but
anyways. I just bring both transmitters with me.

ALSO TRUE... If you set the alarm and close your doors, that will also set
the factory alarm. I guess you have to be careful of how and when you use it.

<< it should be an option on the alarm to have an illuminated entry
automatically go on when you dis arm the alarm.. the best thing for the
keyless entry system to, is to take the battery(s) out of the keyless entry
remotes and store them in a safe location so you don't set off any false
 alarms...
