Jason, I have one on my 98,CC,4x4,V-6er works like a charm, got stuck behind
a wreck for 2 hrs once on an 85 deg. day, one of those 2hrs to go 3 miles
things. no problem with mine. I have a 6er though, not sure on an 8. Also
there is not anywhere on your trucks to use the bolt on part of the kit, so
you have to use the clamp on part, which clamps to the top and bottom of the
radiator, darn aluminum rads bend, so what I did was make a couple of wierd
bent brackets to come off the holes where the fan shroud was bolted, this
works a lot better. All in all I like the fan, a little noisy though. Plus
the instructions state A/C connection is manditory, Didn't try it without,
but what this does is on those 20 degree mornings when you want to defrost
the fan comes on ,that I don't care for.
                          Hope this helps, Denny 98,CC,4x4

I'm intrested in getting a Flex-a-lite Black Magic electric fan for my 98
5.2L 4X4. The part number I'm looking at is 150 (Universal Fit).
For those that are using this fan, could you tell me how you like it as well
as how the install went?

Thanks
Jason
