Well our first PA meet came together today. After waiting 2 1/2 half hours
for Maple Grove to get their timing equipment fixed I found my decision to
attemp to tow thw truck to the track was in err. While driving the truck in
the pits it felt as though I was towing a house, Half way through my burnout
the trans popped out of gear and bounced off the rev limiter. (bad omen )
after my first run in the 15's with the truck not shifting I knew there was
a big problem. I decided to give it one more try before calling it a day.
14.6 was the result I decided to call it a day and watch. I still had a good
time watching Pete tearing up the track and seeing Shane run consistent pass
after pass. It was nice to finally put some faces to the names and see some
really clean Daks. Sorry I wasn't able to do a comparison on the two chips
it'll have to wait for the new trans. (this means I get to build up a
trans:o)
