My father, being a small Amsoil dealer in CA for 10 years, used their
products for just about everything. He's since switched back to Castrol and
K&N. (He was also Chief Engineer at Lockheed in the Space and Aeronautics
division from 1970 - 1980 where he put the oil through stress tests to find
out just how good it is.) No significant improvements from Amsoil vs.
Castrol. (I also have a MPG Record from my Javelin dating from 1970 - 1996
with several Amsoil Oil Changes...NO improvements in fuel economy.) The
only time it showed a 2 MPG improvement was with Arco 20w-50 Graphite Oil.

It's not any better if you change your oil on a regular basis and keep the
engine maintained.
