Why go with blocks? Why not save up that money and just get a set of
Hotchkis lowered leaf springs? They lower the rear 3-4", are somewhat
adjustable, come with a new set of bumpstops, and you don't need any
shackles, blocks, shims and what not. It may take a little longer to save
up, but would be well worth it. You may save a few bucks on equipment, but
you'll pay for it in the ride and handling dept. If you have no idea on what
suspension components are or there function, then you should leave the
installation to a professional. After all, you don't want that leaf spring
to come apart at 50 mph and go through your bed. Check out

well, I want to drop the front no 2 inches and I want the truck to be level.
I figure the back has to go 3, no more, no less. I guess I'll have to stay
