Martin, the "sensor" is a switch, it does NOT come with the Hayden fans.
A fixed switch (turns fan on at 190 degrees) with relay and wiring harness
runs about $12.

I would have to say the 3 best mods were the Mopar computer, B&F TB, and the
fan/pulley combo.
