"Dudes,
New England winter is almost here and I got me a 2WD Dak (Doh!!).
This
thing slips in the rain, I hate to see what it's gonna be like in the
snow.
Anyone have any suggestions on how I can get through my first Dak
winter - sand? Concrete? bigger tires??

Thanks all

-Here's what I do:
Fill the gas tank up before every chance of snow. Adds to the weight
on the rear tires.
Throw couple bags of cement in the tail end. By the time the snow
melts and sits on it and freezes then snows again, they're each a rock
hard 100 lbs.
Keep real good A/T style tires on separate wheels that I can pop on in
chances of bad weather.
Drive more carefully than the other idiots out there.
This has worked for 6 years of 2WD truck ownership for me. Never been
stuck, never wrecked.
Patrick
