RE: rear air shocks

You shouldn't use air shocks for the Dakota... the
rear shocks mount to a bracket, which runs between the
frame rails. This bracket isn't as sturdy as the
frame rails, and you take a chance on bending/breaking
it.. (most likely very expensive). Go with Air bags
if you need the load capacity (heavy load, towing a
travel trailer, etc.), otherwise I had KYB's on my '95
SLT, and was very happy with them.
