One little trick with the rear bumper (2" & 3" Lift):

Put a small notch on the side of the upper portion of the frame rails
(you'll see what I mean when you reinstall the rear bumper). It allows you
to slip the bumper back on without any problems...You'll also have to
re-drill two of the mounting holes to set it properly. This way, you won't
have that ugly gap between the bed and bumper.

OK, that decides it. 2" then. I find it strange that
their own tech guy didn't know there was differences in the
two installs--whatever. Yeah, I saw David's site and his
lift--that's what made me decide I needed one. Anyway,
