Frank,

I own a set of Crower 1.6:1 Rollers installed on my V6 and noticed that they
are also for the Chevy SB as well. Any pushrod changes required on those?

Mike,

A couple of suggestions on roller rockers for ya. The MP roller rockers are
actually manufactured by Crane. Whether you buy from MP or Crane really
doesn't matter. These rockers are actually SB Chevy 1.6 rockers. Because of
this, they take a special pushrod. The pushrod they sell is actually a SB
Ford pushrod and has a Tip to Tip length of 6.812, the factory Magnum
pushrod has a Tip to Tip length of 6.900. Do not try to use the factory
pushrods and use the pushrods supplied with the kit. The only company that I
know that actually makes rockers specifically for the Magnums (not a rocker
for a different type of engine) is Crower. My suggestion would be to always
opt. for the higher ratio (1.7/1) unless your cam mandates less lift. The
higher ratio translates into higher lift at the valve and the and the
engines with factory cams benefit from this. If during installation, you
find that the tip of the rocker doesn't ride pretty much centered on top of
the valve, Crower does sell both longer and shorter pushrods. Your factory
springs are more than sufficient with the factory cam and shouldn't cause
any problems with the 1.6 or 1.7 rockers and are more than sufficient up to
5,500.......
