OK...after a few days of testing (and several bottle refills), i've d that
the following settings work best for the V6 Dakota. Keep in mind that all
of these tests were done using 93 Octane Chevron Super Unleaded brand. (No
Octane booster used. For testing ONLY)
HP Shot N2O/Fuel Jet Timing Retard Comments
50HP Shot: 35/20 0-1 degrees ** Works very nicely **
75HP Shot: 41/24 2 degrees ** Excellent Pickup **
100HP Shot: 52/31 3-4 degrees ** Awesome Performance **
125HP Shot: 57/33 4 degrees ** Bordeline of the 150HP Shot **
150HP Shot: 62/38 5-6 degrees ** Don't try this at home ** PING City!!
The 150 shot was VERY strong...when it didn't ping...but I would NOT
recommend this to anyone unless you've got a few extra cylinders (ok...V8's
have the advantage here). The timing retard was done with the MSD #8970
Multi-Stage Retard Box (using a single stage retard for now). These Jet
settings are direct from NX.
Hope this helps anyone interested...or using a NX kit.
