Your ground clearance on you differential case will not change unless you go
to shorter tires. The body of the truck will get closer to the differential,
but the differential will not get closer to the ground. As for bottoming
out, got with shorter bumpstops. Not much you can do about you tailpipe
except cut it off.

Subject: DML: Dropkit for the Dak offered..your opinion?

Finally scraped up enough money for a high quality-low riding drop kit.
1997 Reg Cab, Belltech 3 inch coil drop in front and Belltech 4 inch
hangers/shackle kit in back. Topped off with 4 Belltech Nitro-Active
Shocks. Took measurements today and have 3 concerns..
1. Bottoming out (bumpstops)
2. Tailpipe will be 4.5 inches off the ground
3. Diff. Case will be 3.5 inches from the ground

of course i dont wanna damage these parts, but how much abuse can they
take?
Anyone have methods of protecting these parts from being mutilated?

        Thanks All,
                Toney
