The 4.3 and the 3.8 are both pushrod motors
the 3.8 was used in the front wheel drie cars and also on the early 80 rear
wheel drive cars but they were and are pushrod motors. There was however a
3.4 DOHC that was used in the Oldsmobile cutlass supreme and pontiac grand
prix in the early 90s
