Since you don't have A/C, the MPI install will be a bit simpler
for you. I'm just going from memory here, and I do have A/C, so
I've never installed one on a non-A/C vehicle...
The parts you will need will probably be:
- intake manifold install kit from dealer (about $20)
- 3/8 NPT to 1/8 NPT adaptor to mount your temp guage sender
- thermostat & gasket
- thermostat neck
- vaccum tree
- 2.02" bolt spacers
- several bolts (I don't have the exact sizes and lengths handy here)
- some RTV
- possibly a new TB gasket if yours isn't re-useable
That's all I can think of at the moment. Since you don't have
A/C, you might not have to cut away a corner of your accessory
bracket, but without looking at a non-A/C truck, I can't be
sure. If you do, its no big deal, the real hassle was grinding
down the A/C compressor itself.
If you need any of the above, I hope to have an MPI install kit
put together very soon; I will probably have a few different kits,
like for A/C, non A/C, '96-up, '95-down, etc. as well as offering
the components individually. I'm about to head out for lunch
right now, and I'm going to stop at the machine shop to pick up
a couple of the prototype vaccum trees; its getting closer! :-)
