Haven't tried the Key method.
I had my private mechanics (who have a scanner) and a 5-Star Dealership
try to pull codes. It did not work in either case.
You're right, I haven't figured out a way to re-connect the stock PTM and
pull the codes. They get cleared no matter which way you do it.
It is a little frustrating. I remember thinking some "bad words" at the
time. :0
