3M makes a version of this polycarbonate material.
You could probably check out their web site(s)
and get more info on it. I have seen a 300ZX
with it on the nose, seemed to work well and did
not discolor after a few years. Cheaper brands
may not be so good though. You could also call 3M
and get more info on it, they are often very helpful.
(no I don't work there..ha)

Good idea Currie! I've heard about this stuff, but have
never seen it. What would worry me is how would you take
it off if you had to remove it. I would definately use it
for the bumper area which is suffering the most. To bad
they don't make this stuff for the windshield...Hmmmmm?
