it should turn off... and no. it won't drain the thing. it's a as you

"small LED light" how did you wire it? i tapped into my ignition wire
and
when i pull the key. it turns off the fog lights also.

The switch has a little green and red light: RED = ON, GREEN = OFF
The "ring-ring" doesnt sound when you open
the door if you leave the fog lights on(like if you left your headlights
on and you leave, the little ring-reminder)
This is definately a problem, I might accidentally leave them on one day
and be screwed, battery discharge!
Anyone know of a way I can wire it so it rings when I leave the fog
lights off and open the door?
The there was one wire (red) that the instructions said to "wire to a
powered [+] parking light or headlight."
I have absolutely no idea what that wire is for, neither could I identify
the parking or headlight [+] wire under the dash.
Does anybody know what its purpose is?
I got the red wire and wrapped it around the fuse for the parking
[orange] lights, in the fuse box on drivers side...
Is that the way I was supposed to do it? Did I do something wrong?
