Dude you gotta be kidding. Well in case you arent what the 3.55 mean is the
driveshaft turns 3. and 3/4 times ( basically) to 1 full turn of the ring
gear. So basically for every tire revolution or better said ring gear the
driveshaft or better said the pinion gear has to turn 3.55 times. now as the
tires get bigger or smaller ( depending on what size tire you put on it) the
overall gear ratio is affected. A bigger tire has to cover more ground than a
smaller tire. ( pretty obvious) now as the longet tire travels the ring gear
doesnt turn any faster than before, Here is where you have your power loss.
So to get the motor back in the rpm range 9power band) you need to get the
ring gear to travel as close to the original gear as you can.
