Depends on who you ask. :-) While its true that the Daks usually do
get bunched in with the compacts by the general press, the automotive
press considers it a mid-size truck. In fact, Daks were the very first
mid-sized truck; Dodge created an entirely new market segment with the
Dakota. The only other mid-size truck that I know of is a Toyota
(Tacoma? Tundra? T100? I can't tell them apart.) I think its the
Tacoma though.
