The bump stops are plastic things (i think it's yellow-orange on the front
A-arms) that stop metal parts from hitting metal parts on a REALLY hard jolt,
or when the truck is under a lot of weigh.. on the back. it keeps the axle
from hittin the frame, so a rubber piece shaped like a upside down house is
inserted there..

PS. the purpose (i think this is what you wanted to know) of the new bump
stops are, they're shorter than stock bump stops. Although they are usually
harder, you get more suspension travel before you "bottom out"

<< Does anyone know what the bump
stop things are? Which kit is a better deal??? What are the ups and downs
to each? Also how easy
is installation. Could i do it myself (im no genious when it comes to
cars)? Thanks for the
 input.
