Rick,
You should have angled the Dak to minimize damage and provide some venison
for Thankgiving. :'B

Well, I was cursing down the hiway @ 10:00 in the AM, and here comes this
doe headed right for me and my Dak. Funny how things go into slo-mo in these
kinds if things, but it sure did. It was raining, but I laid on the binders
anyway full force. I could feel some skidding, but the Dak stayed straight
and true - those rear anti locks seem to work great. I could see this was
not going to make it, so I let off the brake and veered left. WHAM! We hit.
She caught my right front side. As I'm slowing down to pull over, I can see
parts flying down the road in my mirrors. The deer is nowhere to be found. I
go up front, expecting to see a re-designed front end, and the ONLY damage
was she knocked out one fog light! Must have kicked it out on purpose. <g>
Pretty darm lucky. Kinda a bummer, though. Only got 1800 miles on it. Oh,
well, an easy fix for sure. Happy Thanksgiving all.

Rick
