Sh*t! Between you, Don, others and the whole R/T thing this is pissing me off!
Competition in the light truck market is fierce and Dodge has got a winning
design --I just wish they would work these major problems out more effectively.
When are they gonna' learn it's not just the front-end that counts?! I've been
really happy with my truck and thank God the only thing I've been back to the
dealership for is minor or cosmetic stuff. I find my Kota to be a strong
street performer and pretty competent off-road (even though it's a little too
big for the trails I like to ride).
Anyway, I'll stop rambling now... I just hope you guys/gals with problem
trucks get some satisfaction! A truck, car or anything else for that matter is
only as good as the service that backs it up!!

Well i've had my Dak for a week now with it's new tranny and it seems like
it's clunking and grinding is getting progressively worse. In a previous
post the reverse clunk seemed to everyone else to be normal. But now i'm
grinding shifting into drive, reverse and park. So i'm giong to bring it
back to the dealer this Monday to have a look at it just to make sure. I was
planning a trip next weekend so i'll see what the mechanics have to say. I'm
starting o think that maybe i should just trash the transmission on purpose
and then maybe they'd have to give me a new truck??? From the discussion
with the sales guy i'd probably have to go through like 4 or 5 trannies
though before the company would replace it.
So i dunno, just frustrated.
