Webrings usually have a link to the main webring page, click it and they
have membership information on the page.
To use an image as a link instead of text you simply insert an <IMG
SRC="blah.jpg"> before the Anchor (<?A>) instead of text...
Thumbnails are made by shrinking an image in a photo editor or viewer,
for simpe shrinkage something like Paint shop Pro (shareware) would be
fine. I use Photoshop but I'm a Graphics Geek by night.
