Might be low on freon, there might be a switch in the system (GM does)
that when it detects a loss in pressure, it will not allow the
compressor to turn on and burn itself up. Might be a b-o relay. To
check, run a wire to bypass the relay when you take it out. Does all the
positions on the climate control work??
