I just drove from LA to Phoenix and back with my 98' club cab 318 and
got a whole 15 (yes fifteen) mpg, but that was at a constant 85-90mph
(and I was still getting tail gated) most of the way. Around town I get
a mear 11-12mpg with a mix of freeway and surface streets. My cousin has
a 95 Ram with the 318 and he gets 17-19 around town and 26 mpg on the
highway. Both of our rearends are 3.55's. I guess my 318 is really
thirsty.
