dude, in my truck, 98 rc 318 auto 3.55, i usually run
around 15 in town... you know, getting on it at every
red light =} but on the hiway, i usually get at least
18! I have gotten up to 21 before, that was 150 mile
trip of not doing over 60mph. But I can generally run
18-19 on the hiway. Now, when I pull my 13 ft trailer
with my Wolverine on it, it drops WAY down... to like
14 or 15 hiway! I have a bed cover, and a homemade
K&N Gen II. After each mod, I noticed an increase in
MPG. Before, in town I would get like 12 or so mpg,
now I always get 15! My truck is well broken in with
30k miles!
Now my wife's truck is a diff story! She has a 97 Ram
CC 360 auto gas hog! It NEVER got over 17 until I put
in my drop in K&N last month.. she got 18.2 on the
last tank with the Wolverine in the back on that 150
mile trip... I SWEAR! It gen gets 10 in town!
SO... every time you see someone in a full size dodge,
you can always feel better knowing you are getting WAY
better gas mileage then he/she is!
