Surprisingly, JC Whitney has PACESETTER headers for the earlier DAKs with
the V-6. They also have them thermocoated too-- less than $300.00 for the
coated ones. Don't know about crossover pipes for this model. You could have
a set made custom at a muffler shop. Just don't go over 2-1/2 inches or
you'll loose most of the low end, but you'll gain on the top side of the
RPMs. I have a V-8 myself so I'm not too concerned about losing a little low
end, but the V-6 is VERY touchy when you try to open up the exhaust. The
computer will probably have to be re-programmed from one of a few various
computer companies out there. The easiest would be to get one from the
salvage yard and have it programmed to your pacifics. This way--you have a
stock one for towing, etc. and one for Saturday night racing. Only takes 2
minutes to changeover.-- except for the High Octane gas.
