It sounds like something that my truck was doing last year. After cleaning
the TB and IAS port, the symptoms went away. No problems since then and
it's now a regular cleaning procedure at every tune-up for me.

Hey. My truck was a PRIME example of this today. I went out to my truck.
probably about 200 feet away and you know how teens are about showing off
their stuff.. I used the remote starter and started the truck. starts.
chokes chokes. regains. chokes. chokes, regains chokes. at this point. I
run to the truck. put the key in the ignition and turn it to the on position
and step on the gas (turns off the anti theft feature) and it didn't even
take the gas. it was just surging like hell. RPMS went down down down and
died.. took the key out of "on" and manually started it up. nodda.. What
gives?

Also.. I looked under the truck (because my friend told me my cat was
jumping about 2 inches up and down about. Well. there seemed to be
something loose in there, but after I started it back up. no more. What
gives?
