Probably so, but the higher the rpms, the more power it takes to turn
the pulley too, so I would suspect the power gains would start to taper
off once the rpms get high. (i.e. it might not be a direct 1:1 ratio
throughout the powerband; for example, maybe the power difference
between 3000 and 4000 rpm might be 100hp, but the difference between
5000 and 6000 rpm might be 25hp...) (Completely hypothetical numbers
there, which, if they bear any resemblence to reality is a complete
accident.) ;-)
