non-computerized overhead console from the Y2K model into my 98 model,
there are two different wiring harnesses. One for the computerized
unit and one for the non-computerized unit. Also from my 98 service
manual, calibrating the compass unit is quite involved.

Subject: DML: Compass and Computer Transplant

Does anyone on the DML know what it takes to gather up the compass and
computer in the overhead console and transplant them into a Y2K Dak that
has the console but no computer? Is the console prewired and you just need
the modules or would one have to find all the sensors and wiring harnesses
as well...just thinking outloud.

Thanks,

Paul
