Kevin, Put both pair of Clamps forward of the axle, space them before and
aft the factory clamp!
Also, I have the Lakewood traction bars and they work best as far forward as
you can get them, the snubber should be in the front most hole, and that
snubber should hit just shy of the front spring eye, ideally you want it to
hit under the spring eye, because it will not give any, but if its close
enough you will not get any deflection in the spring!

Subject: DML: Spring clamps ?'s

I'm putting my Lakewood traction bars on this week, and bought 2 pairs of
Mr.
Gasket spring clamps, as the guy at Summit said my 99 called for 'em. I have

a dumb question: How far back should I put the spring clamps? Should I clamp

the spring pack where it spreads at the rear? Or should the clamp be closer

to the traction bar? BTW, the part # is 1293 for the clamp pkg., which has 2

plates & 2 bolts, cost only $11.34 each from Summit. I'm assuming they clamp

the rear where it's spreaded, just want to hear someone else agree.
