I called Mopar performance on the clamps and they recommended in front the
axle!
I am only using one pair also, I misunderstood you, I thought you already
had 2 pair, you are right one pair is all you need.
It is my understanding that you should place the snubber under the spring
eye, or as close as possible. With my truck '00 , I slid them as far up as
possible and the snubber contacts just shy of the eye. If the snubber makes
contact with leaf spring, say mid way, the spring can give or bend, if you
put it under the eye or close to it, the spring cannot deflect!

Matt,
Why put the clamps in front of the axle, and not behind where the leafs are
spread out? ( I have 2" lowering blocks). I saw a Nova track car & it had
the
clamps at the rear. Which way & why? Why 2 sets per side? I don't want to
spend $50 for clamps! Already bought 2 sets, one per side, at $11.34/ set,
that's enough. Why have the snubber under the spring eye, where it won't
contact the leaf pack at all? I thought it's purpose was to stop the leaf
pack from moving downward, thus stopping wind-up. Am I missing something
here?
