The experience I'm drawing on comes from turbo's so there may be a
difference in the low end part of it, but we(shelby list) found that TB's
didn't make much of a difference in a pressurized setup. going from the
stock 46mm to a 52mm TB would net only a tenth at the most. I don't know if
it's a issue of the turbo being controlled by the manifold pressure(if the
pressure is lower than target the turbo will just spin faster to compensate)
or the fact that once the air is pressurized small changes in TB bore just
don't matter, or if there is another restricting factor that I'm not aware
of in that particular engine. Hope I didn't confuse matters more
