Hi,
Had to check mine also. For what it is worth: 4500 miles, no water or
discoloration just oil. But then again, down here in Texas it has not been
very cool yet therefore less chance for condensation. I'll keep checking it
through out the winter. More often than normal.

I checked mine got 4000 miles on it. a little brown film but thats just oil
nothing else on it
