When i said that i meant regular trucks like we drive every day. When the
desert racers go sky high ( jumps) when they come down believe me the axle
takes a load. im sure the Hp will destroy most cv joints . Anytime you rin
650 to 750 hp through stuff like that will break. But i remember that the
ARMY used to have a jeep that was a 4 wheel independent. and it was very
dangerous on the street because it was easy to roll over. im sure its more
of a safety issue rather than a strenght issue. Ive seen the 4 wheel axles
and suspension on a desert runner. those things were designed to be beat on.
