Ok here is what you do. If youre KEEPING your old geats and just replacing
the differential you dont adjust anything. You just take out the old diff and
bolt up the new Limited slip or whatever youre installing with the old ring
gear.
If youre replacing the gears along with the differential you need to have
the backlash and pinion depth adjusted.
Thats when youll need the dial indicatir and mic for the shims.
If all youre doing is replacing the diferential just bolt up the old ring
gear and put everything back the way you took it out. Remember to mark the
bearing caps so they go back where they were
