Boog, I have drilled a vent hole 5/16 in the top of the filler cap, and over
the last two days it has decreased the amount of condensation in the tube
over 50%! I may go to a larger hole, I'll keep everyone posted.

I went into the dealership that I bought this thing from and they called
Star
(still dont know who they are) and they say this is normal. To have a
condensation problem in the oil filler tube is normal. Quote " You dont
drive it enough. The engine dosent have time to burn off the condensation."
Why should I have to! Never had this problem with my other trucks. I guess
30 miles a day is not enough!
They wont do anything for me. I will get an oil analysis done and see what
comes out of that.
Well when it wipes the rod and main bearings then will come back with a
lawyer and sue. Its normal.
Maybe we should all come together as a collective on this and then they will
do something.
Anyone out there a lawyer? What can we do about this.
I am so bummed.
We need to figure out a way to keep this fom happening. Has anyone tried
insulating the tube yet?
