I have used this type of drain in two different jetboats, one Olds 455
powered, and one with a 454 Chevy. In both cases, the drain fitting has a
small leak which resulted in oil in the bilge of the boat. I went back to a
regular drain plug, and dealt with the hassle of changing oil in a boat, as
opposed to living with a frustrating leak.
